제30대 초, 중반
시드니의 겨울을 견뎌야 했던 때가 있었죠.

난방 기기 하나 없이
뼛속까지 스며드는
추위를 견디기도 힘든데

거기에
짝사랑을 하고 있던 상대가
결혼한다는 소식을 접했으니,

그 겨울이 얼마나 혹독했을까요?

그때는 미쳐버릴 것 같아
없는 살림에
새벽마다
술 처먹고
몇 백불의 국제 전화비를 지불하면서까지
애먼 친구에게
울고불고
유난을 떨었던 시절,

지금 생각하면
참 웃기기도 한데요.

그때를 견딜 수 있게 했던 노래를
모처럼 만에 찾아 들어요.

당시는 주로 팝을 많이 들었던 때라
엘비스 프레슬리의 목소리로 들었지만


오늘은 재즈 버전으로 들어볼까요?

잉거 마리 군데르센(Inger Marie Gundersen 1957년 2월 13일생),
자신의 재즈 5중주
"My Favorite Strings"와 함께 25년을 활동한 후
2004년에 데뷔 앨범
Make This Moment를 발매했답니다.

이 앨범은 25개 이상의 나라에서 발매되었고
그녀는 아시아와 유럽을 연주 여행했는데요.
특히 한국과 일본 같은 극동에서 성공적이었죠.

그 후 종종 그녀의 앨범들을 찾아들었는데
작년에도 앨범을 발매했다니,
서서히 감동할 준비를 해야겠어요.
