유명한 쿠바의 작곡가인 Osvaldo Farrés (1903-1985)는 " Quizás, Quizás, Quizás ", "Acercate Mas"및 "Tres Palabras"등 의 곡을 작곡했답니다.
그는 악보를 읽거나 쓸 수 없었지만 세계적인 유명한 작곡가가 되었죠. 그가 작곡한 곡들, 우리에게도 몹시 익숙한 Quizás, Quizás, Quizás ", "Acercate Mas", "Tres Palabras", "Toda Una Vida"등이 있으며 특히 곡 "Madrecita" 는 그의 어머니에게 헌정한 것으로 라틴 아메리카에서는 어머니의 날에 이 곡이 많이 불려진다고 해요.

그의 노래는 Doris Day , Nat King Cole , Natalie Cole , Eydie Gorme , Pedro Vargas, Raquel Bitton, Charles Aznavour, Luis Miguel, Maurice Chevalier, Sara Montiel, Olga Guillot, John Serry Sr.등 많은 라틴 아메리카 보컬들뿐만 아니라 미국의 재즈 음악가들에 의해서 불려지거나 연주되고 있지요.


오늘은 그의 작곡 "Tres Palabras"를 감상해보겠는데요. 전 처음 헤이든과 루발카바나의 앨범 녹턴으로 들었을 때 참 서정적이면서 아름다운 곡이구나 감탄했었답니다. 제가 좋아하는 버전으로 링크해요.
