1학기 교양영어 마지막 과제는 영어로 된 자기소개의 3분 분량의 영상을 제작하여 원고와 함께 업로드해서 교수님께 보내는 것이었죠. PPT 작업도 처음 해보는 것이라 뒤죽박죽, 촬영과 편집은 지인들의 손을 빌렸죠.

완성해 과제를 제출하고 나니 10년 묵은 체증이 확 뚫리는 기분이에요. 첫 번째 경험을 완수한 것에 대한 뿌듯함도, 또 지인들의 도움도 저에게는 큰 기쁨이었답니다. 더 많은 경험을 할 수 있는 2학기 기다려진다면, 웃으실거죠?

 

 

1) Hi, everyone! I’m En Kim a first year Philosophy student. It’s nice to study English with you. Here are three keywords that show who I am. I’m a party person and I love music, especially jazz. Also I love to read and write books.

 

2) First of all, I like to have parties. My friends often call me the queen of the party.

 

3) As the hostess, I take care of everything from food and drinks to music and sometimes romantic movies. We enjoy delicious food, sing and dance to music and have endless conversations. Sometimes, I have a bit too much to drink, but I still have a great time.

 

4) Next, music is a big part of my life. I enjoy various genres like classical, world music, pops and more. But jazz holds a special place in my heart. Jazz has been there for me during the toughest time. It means more than just family and friends for me. I also write articles about jazz on my blog, Instagram and Facebook. I’m an active member of Jazzel, a group for jazz fanatics.

 

5) Recently an independent Italian label contacted me and asked me to listen to their new albums and write reviews. It was surprising but exciting. I listened to the albums, wrote the review and shared them on my platform. It’s amazing that people out there are reading my writings. I really feel that the world is connected as one.

 

6) Lastly I have a passion for reading and writing, especially poetry and novels. When I read something inspiring, I feel the urge to write like that.

 

7) Through my imagination, I create a world where I can not only become a better and happier person but also contribute to making a better world for others.

 

8) My greatest goal in life is to write something that brings comfort, empathy, and encouragement to those who are tired. I can help them start new. Isn’t that amazing?

 

9) Sure, there are many things I enjoy, but life is too short to experience everything. So, from now on, I will focus on these three passions. Can you guess who I am based on these keywords? Thank you for listening.
